Mike will be doing most of the set-up the day before and finishing off in the morning before the wedding. If you would like to arrive earlier to help with the finishing touches and greet guests as they arrive, then your help would be much appreicated! Please let Mike know if you can/don't mind helping.
We have some gazebos that will be set up in case of unfavourable weather and a number of camping chairs.
If you have a gazebo, chairs, bean bags, or anything else you'd like to have on the day and would rather not carry with you upon arrival, then these can be dropped off to us in advance (preferably before 22nd May) and we’ll bring them to the site on the day. Please label anything you drop off so that we can ensure the right item goes back to the right person. We will be hiring a van to transport all these items to the site.
If you are kindly lending a gazebo, this will need to be dropped off before the ceremony so that it can be erected before there are too many guests around.
This is a bring-your-own picnic so please bring your own food & drinks. There will be a few bottles of soft drinks available.
I will bring my large gas BBQ for people to cook food on, unfortunately disposable BBQ's will not be allowed.
We will have some containers of ice to place drinks into and there will be some disposable cups, plates & cutlery.
We’ve not set an end time, you can stay as long as you like! To respect local residents though, we will quiet down around 9pm.
We no longer need to pack up at the end of the night, though all rubbish bags will be tied up and removed so that the local wildlife doesn't get hold of it!
